This may be a silly question - just never encountered it before. I have converted a Crystal XI Sales Order form report to print in batch form - prints all orders entered in a day in one batch report rather than printing each one individually... My question is - would like the Sales Orders to be stapled/sorted by the printer appropriately. Total run could be 300 pages for all orders, with each individual order could be 2,3,4,5 or more pages. Is this something I would do in Crystal, Printer setup or??? Any help would be appreciated...

Hi,
I suspect ( actually almost certain) that this would have to be handled by the output device. Perhaps one of those print-copy-everything office machines that can collate and staple jobs sent to it by the network.

Sounds like you want to burst (split) the report so that each order becomes a separate print job, so it can individually be stapled. At least one of the 3rd-party Crystal Report Managers listed at can do exactly that.

Cheers,
- Ido

view, email, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.
