I have created my SQL and dragged and dropped the fields into a table. Now I need to be able to collapse fields, and I have read that I need to create groups to do that. But whenever I right click on a field, I don't get any option to add/edit a group. How do I do this, and then once I have my groups, how do I collapse them?

If for example some of my columns look like this :
-----------------------------------------
Main Grouping -
-----------------------------------------
Subgroup 1------Subgroup 2----Subgroup 3-

How when I collapse the subgroups can I collapse the Main Grouping header so that it becomes smaller and doesn't still cover all the subgroup headers?

on the layout tab - click some place in the body - NOT on the table. Right click on the table - look for the groups tab. That should get you going.

when you want to colapse a group automagically click on the row that is the group - click on the group and look at the properties - you are looking for 'Visibility'. it defaults to 'Hidden - False'. You change that to True and change the 'Toggle Item' to what you want the user to click on to be able to drill through the report.

that help?
