I am looking to outsource my coldfusion and email services. Does anyone know of a reliable hosting company who can do this for me. I am located in Canada, but that really doesnt matter, but would be nice.

both of these options are quite expensive. i am also looking for a CFM7 with SQL Server 2000. does anyone know of a cheaper hosting service?
thanks

I agree, does anyone know of a cheaper service with reseller options, I have seen this before where you can package 20 sites for a lump sum.

yeah but keep in mind you'll have a cap for bandwidth and storage that you have to share for all 20 sites. It's an impressave number if you're hosting 4 or 5 sites, but not to share with 20 of them. I'd keep looking for an "on demand" type solution.

We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true.

You would be surprised. From personal experience, most sites use very little space/bandwidth. You will always get the exception to the rule, but only a tiny amount of sites will use a large amount of resources.

A lot of people aim really high when looking for hosting quotas, however about 90% of them are very unlikely to come close to actually using what they think they will.

Hope this helps

Fresh Look - Quality Coldfusion/Windows Hosting

You and i know this. but some people are straight crazy.

for example.
I say I offer 1 gig of space per site for storage. I think the average size of the sites i host are 20megs if they have a large database...

I had a customer leave for someone that offered 2 gigs. What was the size of the site? it was about 13megs.

with packages like that you end up having a hard time being able to advertize large numbers. Even if the smaller ones are well within tollerance.

Bigger is better, remember? :/
