Could anyone tell me what the function coldfusion
"decrypt" returns if there is an error?

ColdFusion usually spells out the error fairly well. What are you trying to do and what is the error you're getting. - tleish

On a side note, has anyone else ever had problems with decrypt()? We've used crypt() and decrypt() but had to give them up because the decrypted string was wrong too many times.
