Cold start and KeyCodes 2

Quick question. . . does performing a cold start remove the keycodes from a BCM50?

I may do a cold start to change the startup template on a BCM50 (not yet in service) and I am just curious if I will need to re-apply keycodes.

this will not effect the keycodes or the patches that are on there.
