Cold Fusion & Dreamweaver MX

As a Newbie - Im studying the tutorials in the Dreamweaver MX book and tutorial #3 on page 118 (chapter 5) implies that I get some advantage by installing Cold Fusion into my PWS (Personal Web Server).I progam in VB Script & ASP.
Why do I need Cold Fusion?

Not really, coldfusion is an application you use when you wanna use db connectivity...
I use CF all the time, for work...but you really don't need it... I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

I use asp and vbscript all of the time and dont have cf installed.
