cogserver.log Cognos Error listCO 1

I am looking for a list of errors that can be written to the cogserver.log and the gateway log file. I am writing an HP Openview monitroing solution for an installation of COGNOS 8, and need to know if a list of errors exists, and where I can get it.

there is no such list. cognos will not release such a list. it would be a very large list... if it existed.

you may be better of searching on "error" and "failed". somehow these words are always there when an error is thrown.

i know that is not a fool proof solution, but i can say with some confidence that it will work most of the time.
