Cognos8 and Firefox

Has anyone had luck with using Mozilla Firefox with Cognos8? I have been attempting to make it work. In Cognos Connection the "Report Studio" button does not appear, nor the "Query Studio". However, reports will run on the browser. Thanks for your help,

The COGNOS website shows the following for supported browers for COGNOS 8:
Web Browser Support by Components
Cognos Connection/Report Viewer/
Query Studio/Metric Studio Operating System Cognos 8
Server Support
Note: A small number of Cognos Connection dialogs are used in Framework Manager. Reference testing platform is Windows.
Internet Explorer 6 SP1 Windows 2000/2003 Active
Internet Explorer 6 SP2 Windows XP Active
Netscape 7.2 Windows Active
Netscape 7.1 Any platform Compatible
Firefox 1.0.4+ Windows Active
Firefox 1.0.4+ Macintosh/Linux/UNIX Compatible

Make sure your Firefox version is at least 1.0.4

I would not use FireFox with Cognos. I simply would not. I had using it acouple of months ago and I was scratching my head wondering why I couldn't see some things.

For Cognos, simply use IE.

Netscape was not a workable option either.
