I have 20 users using the Cognos Upfront Web Portal and everything is working fine. We use Powerplay web and Impromptu Web Reports.

When the users do not take any options for what seems like 15 minutes, they are being forced to log back onto the Upfront system.

Does anyone know where the change should be made to extend this to say 2 hours.

I think it is in the Configuration Manager, but the help text is not clear at all.

Regards

This happens when the ticket expires due to inactivity. The default is normally an hour, so somebody must have changed it to the lower setting. To reset the value, open Cognos Configuration, then open either the current configuration or a ccs file that contains your settings. Under Services -> Access Manager -> Ticket Server -> General, you will see a setting called 'Ticket Duration' which you can increase to the desired period in minutes.
