Cognos Scheduler error

I get the following error on certain impromptu reports

"This Remote Snapshot file references a Result Set which is not available. This might be a transient condition or due to the Result Set being purged. Either try again or contact the author of this report for an updated version."

Can anyone shed any light on the cause of this?
I can't identify any pattern...
