Cognos Report Studio , how to create sub reports ?

I have a Scenario where one main report pulls in many sub-reports around 10. Remember each report has a union of 6 queries pulling for a particular month.
This can be done in separate 10 reports also but if cognos has that capability then thought of trying it.

Wouldn't be a good report design to consolidate 10 reports into one .
please let me know.
