Cognos Report Run gives login Error

Hi,

Environment:
1) Cognos 8
2) System DSN created using OMNI drivers provided by third party.

When I work in the framework manager I could connect to the datasource using the DSN created and I could look at the data in the tables. I have created a new Query Subject using the new DSN source. But when I create a report using the new Query subject and run the report it fails giving a login failure.

How does the framework manager shows data from the Query Subject but the report fails giving a logon error? Are there any setting that needs to be done while selecting the DSN in the framework manager.

Are you running FM directly from the server using remote desktop, or do you have it locally installed on your client machine?
