COGNOS Prompt Buttons & iPad

We're currently trying to add a prompt button for an active report on COGNOS 10.1
It works on a PC, but for some reason when we view the report on our iPads, it doesn't show the buttons or the active piece that shows information based on which button you select.

Any ideas what's going on? Why wouldn't it display at all?

A prompt button would require some sort of connection to the Cognos datasource / contentstore. Actually I would have expected this to be not possible on a PC either..
