If I have a cube that I created on Powerplay User,
can I use Cognos Powerplay Enterprise to make the
cube viewable on the web?

I guess I am confused about whetehr I need Upfront.
If I don't have Upfront can I still publish the
cube allowing users to get to the web and see it.

Pls help a newbie as I have just started my new
job...

Hi,
You seem a little confused. I hope you created the cube with Cognos Transformer. You publish the cube with Powerplay Enterprise Server and you use Upfront as the web based interface to view the cube. Upfront is similiar to Powerplay client but Upfront is just for viewing the cube over the web

If you don't have upfront, you can use PowerPlay enterprise server to give access over the web. Then users will access straight the PPES Table of Content (TOC).
Upfront is not mandatory to give web access to cubes.

You can also create a html page which contains cube link to PPES toc.

I think that's what I want but I thought maybe Upfront is
just part of the PPES install I can find somewhere. It
seems I may not need it anyway. So I will build cubes
and allow PPES to grant access to users to view their
cube over the web then. I don't want them to stuck to
viewing it on other non-web zero footprint client.
PLease correct me if I am wrong...
