cognos macro

Hi,
I am Sharma.I have written a macro in cognos script editor.
Purpose this macro is to display the Impromptu report catalog folder paths in a notepad.Using call shell(notepad.exe) I have done that requirement. But my new requirement is I need to open a dialog box in cognos script editor and there I need to create 1 textbox in that
textbox i need to show the folder paths(what I displayed
the data in notepad earlier).
I 'll be greatful if any body give the suggestions.

Hi Sharma,

You can use cognos script dialog box for displaying dialog box. For feeling data inside it u can write your own code to read from a file. Cognos script programming is very much similar to Visual Basic programming. So you can try out VB syntax here. One of my collegue has written this kind of code.
