My company's Finance dept. still uses Impromptu Administrator V6. They save their reports out on a Windows 2000 server. The reports access data on a SQL 2000 server. The database connection is set up correctly in Impromptu and has not changed in years. Up until this morning, everything was working fine.
However, when they or I try to open any reports today, we get either nothing at all or we get two errors. The first error tells us that the report is not a valid Impromptu report. Clicking OK to that brings up a second error: "Failed to open document %1. Its location has changed. Please check the full path of this file."
I am going through the File menu and opening the report. These files have not moved in years.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks much!
