After completing an initial installtion of Cognos 8.4 and starting the services, it seems to be running fine for a while and then without warning, it simply stops with the following error:
The IBM Cognos gateway is unable to connect to the IBM Cognos BI server. The server may be unavailable or the gateway may not be correctly configured
Currently there is little activity on this box at this time so we can rule out a large volume of users hitting on the box all at the same time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
