cognos-ETL versus Oracle

hi,
we are looking for an ETL-tool. Since we are now doing reporting with cognos on oracle our first thoughts go to cognos-desicionstream and Oracle warehouse-builder.

From our side we have found following dis(advantages for both:
cognos:
+ creates cubes and standard reports
-price
Oracle:
+price
+creates code you can use without the ETL-product


But this comes from a very superficial view. Anyone any experience with these products?

We also use Oracle with Cognos and it is our experience that Informatica Powercenter is an excellent ETL-tool for that.

Warehouse Builder is... is... just forget it.

Indeed, Informatica is very good, but expensive.

Decision Stream is a nice product. It's a nice compliment to Transformer.
