Just new to Cognos, but we have a large crosstab report that fails with CCLoutMemory error. The solaris server has 32G with about 16G avail., so it must be a Cognos config problem. The report is such, that I need to calculate the avg of 4 elements for each row and create a new column with that value. I then need to obtain the max value of that new column over a 7day or 28day period, and I have only been able to use crosstab and get raw data, but I get the CCLoutMemory error. Can anyone provide the proper syntax for the moving-average or runnng-max that I may use to avoid using the crosstab and hitting this CCLoutofMemory error? Thanks much in advance,
