cognos BI server 8.2 ms sql server driver

Hi,

We have a cognos BI 8.2 sever running on linux. We want to create a datasource pointing to MS SQL Server 2005. Currently we are not able to do so. We believe because the linux server does not install ms sql server driver. We heard of an open source odbc driver FreeTDS. Have anyone use it with cognos? Is there any suggestion for a linux ms sql driver that work with cognos?
