I have several tables worth of statistics that Operations would like modeled so that they can run various reports on it. From my training and experience, I understand how to model sales and financial data (Great Outdoors etc...) but I'm having trouble finding any information on some other types.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good starting place for me?
Thanks!

If you a series of x facttables (can imagine you have), then you might consider x starschemas.
The point is to create 'pure' fact query subjects out of them (only keys to dimensions and facts)
Move any attributes to an additional model query subject.

Perhaps If you state the nature of the data, then you may get some feedback on how to model them into a structure the pleases Cognos.
