Hi All,
We utilize a product called McKesson One Staff for creating staffing schedules and downloading data for payroll into our HR application here at our hospital. The version of One Staff that we use runs on a Pervasive 8 SQL database engine.
I need to start working on a model for One Staff and wanted to touch base with anyone that may be using or has past experience with using One Staff or Pervasive 8 SQL with Cognos 8 in the hopes of gaining some insight and jump starting my modeling project.
Also, I am fairly new to Cognos modeling and while I have taken some IBM Cognos classes, I haven't made it to any of the modeling classes yet. So if anyone has any suggested reading, CBT's etc to help with my modeling efforts until I can make it to one of the more formal classes it would be much appreciated as well.
Any help, suggestions or resources would be greatly appreciated.
