Could reports created in Cognos 8 using Report and Query Studio be deployed in a Reportnet Environment?

Are there any issues involved

No - the report specifications from Cognos 8 are not backwards-compatible with ReportNet. If you create the reports using the Cognos 8 studios, you can use them only within Cognos 8.
