Coding Scroll Position in ScrollPane

In Flash 8 Pro:

I have a 600 x 400 scrollPane, and I have various, much larger movie clips within it..

I would like to set up code, so that when the user clicks certain buttons outside the scrollPane, the scrollbar automatically shifts, to show different regions of the movie clips.

Within the scrollPane class all I see are listeners.

Is there an easy solution? I would prefer not to convert to bitmap..

Using hPosition & vPosition should do it... After determining through tests what actual settings you should use, to rightly position the pane's content mc.
