This regards an issue when using any active-x enabled programming language and Codesoft versions 5,6,7, or 8.

When you try to use the Codesoft activeX control, you receive either an "out of memory error" or:

"Error 430: Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface".

ANSWER: Only Teklynx Codesoft "enterprise" editions permit use of the activeX control. The lesser Codesoft pacakges (sprint, runtime, and premier) are set to deny ActiveX control. THIS IS NOT CLEARLY INDICATED ON ANY CODESOFT MANUAL OR WEBSITE!

To make things worse, if you install multiple versions, the first one ran on the system will be the one linked to the ActiveX control. Again, the enterprise version can be installed but the control will attempt (and fail) to bring up the version that was first run on the system.

SOLUTION: If you first ran something other than enterprise, simply uninstall then reinstall codesoft, and make sure to launch the ENTERPRISE edition first, before the others. The lesser versions can then be used seperately from the activeX program which will use codesoft enterprise.
