held in global.asa does not 'kick in', although @CODEPAGE=932 held on indiviual pages is effective. I need it to work on global.asa since that holds a number of Dictionary objects. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks in anticipation,

Letmos

Dear Mike,

Thanks for the advice, but this doesn't work either. As I mentioned @CODEPAGE=932 works without a problem on other pages; are there specific factors at work when it comes to global.asa? i.e. the server needs to be rebooted for it to become effective or the server's regional settings to be set 'more carefully'?

Thanks, Letmos
