I have vba code in my Access project that works fine until I import a new table or rename a table,then one procedure doesn't respond at all and the other produces very weird results. Both procedures utilize recordsets based on the tables and involve updates. The forms are not open when I import or change the name. I can't figure out what is going on?!

Code won't work after import

Access is pretty stupid about renaming. So, if you rename something, you will find you have to update all things that refer to that something.
For example, if table X is changed to table Y, any queries that use table X have to be updated to table Y.
It's a pain.
