CODE NEEDED

HI,

I have two date fields: 1) Date Issued, 2) Effective Date

I would like a code that will automatically populate the Effective Date field with a plus 30 days after the dated entered on the "Date Issued" field.

I thank you in advance for any help with this matter.

if the effective date is always the date issued plus 30 days, you don't actually need to store that value

If you do have a particular reason for storing a calculated value then you'd do better to post this in the forum dedicated to whatever database you're using. It's difficult to give any detailed help when we don't know the language you want.
