Hi, I have a form with the field [Biennial] and a subform with [year], [population] and various other fields.

I need my [Biennial] which is a yes/no field to turn to "yes" IF [year] =2000 and [population]=<4000

I thought I could put something on the OnOpen Event for the form but don't know how to put this all together.

In the ControlSource property of Biennial, set it to:

=Iif([Year]=2000 And [Population]<=4000,"Yes","")

This will set an empty string if it does not meet the criteria.
This assumes that the text boxes on your form match the fieldnames.
