hello,

Im trying to find the code for creating a command button. I want the user to be able to click on the button and a new query design dialog pops up. Similar to what happens when you click new query in the database window. I want the user to be able select the tables needed for the new query.

Thanks in advance,

Mike P

Greetings,

Could you have a combo box with a list of the tables?
Which would in turn populate other combo boxes with the field names. Etc...

I think it can be done with docmd.domenuitem

I just dont know what parameters to use with docmd.domenuitem( )

Anyone know?

Perhaps this ?
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdNewObjectQuery

Hope This Helps, PH.
