So what code editors do people recomend?

Notepad has its limitations and I would like something that has some from of contextual help - such as closing brackets and marking up reserved words, click through to functions etc.

Hi, I do not know of any with Context related help, unless it is a dedicated editor for a particular set of languages..I use, and like a lot, an editor called
UltraEdit32 - it has color-coding for many languages, a terrific search and Replace function and many more features ( hex edit,FTP based load and save, etc)
