Code certificates - I am lost!

I need to sign some macros to permit them to run without forever asking permission.

Getting certificates from the likes of Verisign is out of the question due to cost.

I found this advice

and followed it.

However - what do I do now?

I'm lost. How do I hande the files the procedure above generated.

I have created

CC.cer
CC.pvk
CC.spc
CodeCert.cer
CodeCert.pfx

How do I sign a macro with these? How do I get excel to list them?
