All:

I replaced my hard drive recently and reloaded MS Access. Now when I examine the code behind one form, all the code behind forms windows open. Strange!

How do I make Access open the one code behind window?

Tnanks,

Ron

That's the problem. When there are 12 or more windows open, I can spend several minutes closing each one every time I open just one. I didn't have to do it before. Why should I have to do it now?

It should only take a second to close a window. There should be a command to close all windows. I expect if you save the module, it should save the environment.

There is a "Window", "Close All". Also it sounds like you are in a cascade or tile view. Even if I have multiple windows open they are hidden behind the current module.

You may want to download MZTools from MZTools.com

Among whole list of functionalities, there is one "Close All Windows" that do just that. One click.

You will find other good stuff there, too.

Have fun.

Sorry, I have MZT loaded so I thought that was a native feature. As Andy points out you may not have it unless you load MZT.

How are ya RonMcIntire . . .

Actually all code behind forms & modules are there, just hidden by the current code module, which is brought to the front and maximized (normally). Restore the current code module and you'll see all the rest.

Just maximize any of the windows and start over from opening the form. All should be ok.

That fixed my problem. I have never seen that before and it surprised me when 21 code-behind windows (not maximized) showed up.

Thanks to all for your comments.
