[cod 41] on Keybored

I have been having this problem for some time and i also have found one other person with the same problem. well here it is

I get a code 41 on my keyboard(microsoft wireless comfort edition). It worked fine till about 2 days ago when i used a program called "Driver Cleaner Pro" to remove old Nvidia drivers. Too clear things up i have already:

*tried updating drivers.
*removing hardware n reinstalling.
*unplugged and rebooted.
*tried another keyboard.
*booted the xpdisc in consolemode to reinstall the original drivers.
*ran update through the xpdisc.
*googled my way to hell n back.

Help?

We have both do the same thing only differents is that we have different keybored.

I am getting very close to formating my computer and i am hopping not to do that

When you say that you've tried updating drivers, did you use the download link at

yes i have tryed downloading them and they had no effect.

I will try them again just to be safe.
