Hello!
Do you know something about CobolScript?????
Thank you

I think you may find information at
From the examples found there, it seems to be somewhat COBOL, somewhat PHP/Perl. Using PHP with ODBC bindings to the COBOL data might be more useful, since PHP programmers exist and should understand the nuances of scripting.

An alternative COBOL approach is COBOL-CGI:

Best of luck.

It should be noted that the link for cobol-cgi is New England Technical who makes most of the packages for RM/Liant systems. I wish they would come out with their own runtime and compiler.

Hmmm.

Well, it is England Technical Services, named for its founder.

I would characterize the ETS/Liant relationship as, "They were the original authors of some of the add-on tools sold by Liant. In most cases, Liant has added substantial technical value to those products."

I think Bob is too smart to do his own compiler and runtime; he would forfeit his neutrality in the tools business and thereby shrink his potential market.
