Does anyone have a recommendation for a program that will take a cobol library (mask) and convert it to GUI? Our programmers are in the process of converting from 16 bit to 32 bit cobol and moving to GUI. The problem is that to recreate all of their library screens, one at a time in a GUI format that can be compiled is very time consuming and the number of screens to be converted will take forever.

I am looking for an application that will read the library mask and convert it to GUI code.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on your GUI. If you use COBOL sp2 from Flexus to get to GUI they can provide you with conversion tools, or services that do these screen conversions. They have a tool to convert BMS Macros (I think that is what you are converting from) to Sp2, and they have access to other tools and vendors that can convert almost any other screen format to their GUI tool.
