COBOL error

Have an error in a korn shell that is referring to my cobol program. It states:
Unresolved symbol: VL_Init_Msg (code) from (program name)
Execution Error: file 'program name'
error code: 115, pc=0, call=1, seg=0
115 Unexpected signal (Signal 6)


I have no idea where to even start.

Hi,
I have seen something similar to this in cases where the object program has been damaged (ie disk i-o error). You might try to recompile it and simply replace the old object file with a fresh copy.
