Greetings:

We are running 7.6.300C on MSSQL.

We recently purchased the Bank Book module. Today, I turned it on in a test company. When you exit Company Setup it asks if you want to set up system periods for the module which I did.

Then I tried to go into Bank Book Setup in the Maintain menu in Bank Book but I keep getting a Cobol Runtime Error. It creates a log file. Below is the beginning of the error log just before the details are listed. Has anyone run into this? What can I do about it?

When to added the Bank Book module, did you receive the a script to create the screen sets (based on the MSSQL) ?

I believe that when Macola was originally installed, the bank book programs were not installed.

The progression install reads the reg file you are using and by default installs ONLY those module's progams. My personal practice is to override this and install all modules, and this way when you add a new module, all you need to do is to replace the existing reg files and away you go.

See document 04.288.266 for details on adding a new module.
