cobfsort out of space - fuji cobol on linux

here's my log error:

[2004/10/19 17:15:27|FATAL|SORTFILE failed 'Space for work file is short.


It appears the sort file is to big, any ideas how i can fix this?

Problem with disk space or COBOL problem?
Find out by typing "df -HT" in another shell when this sort is executing. Try to see if there is still room on the disk when the error occurs.
Maybe you can change the script so it uses the "/tmp" directory.
