Hi,
I am trying to install phpmyadmin on our Raq550, am getting the following error when trying to access index.php:

cannot load MySQL extension, please check PHP configuration.

I have put the following line into php.ini:

extension=mysql.so

and have made a symlink for the correct socket, both as detailed on Sun's site.
I have also followed the documentation that comes with phpmyadmin closely.

I am getting desparate now, as I can't find any other relevant documentation.
The PHP version on the Raq is 4.0.6, does this need to be updated, and if so what would be the best way to do it?

Thanks,
Rich.
