Mitel Mail - Analog integration

I have a customer that has a loop start CO trk that rings to his prime line DN via form 14. Any calls to this CO line will NOT reroute to VM, form 19. If you call the set internally, the call will go to VM on Busy and NoAnswer. If you call to VM and then dial his DN, call will go back to VM to his personal mailbox. If you put a speed dial that points to the VM huntgroup into form 14, VM will answer with the system greeting, but we want the call to go directly to his mailbox.

The rerouting for the set in Form 19 is to a speed dial that that has the VM huntgroup along with digit codes to insert the DN (analog integration) so calls will forward to proper mailbox.

I tried adding the CO trk as a CO key on the set (SS4025) and then enabling option 815 in COS. This option is DTS/CO key honors forwarding. I know, we are doing call rerouting, not call forwarding, but it was worth a shot.

As a test, I also put the same speed dial that is in form 19 for CFW NO ANS into form 14 for this trunk. Did not work, but I didn't expect it to because there is no DN to be inserted with the digit codes built into the speed dial. In fact, the VM did not even answer the call. I also built a new speed dial that only has the VM hunt group in it, and that was successful. This means that the trunk has speed dial access.

Anyone have any thoughts? I am trying this remotely, which is why I have not been able to test a call forward from the set.

You can't fix stupid...

But you sure can profit from it!

The DTS method should have worked but the COS option is required on the Trunk COS, not the station

If the termination point of the trunk in form 14 is the prime of the set AND there are no multicall buttons of the prime on any other set the trunk should follow routing. Not absolutely sure of this I admit.

How about building a speedcall to integrate directly to the mailbox in question and terminate the trunk to that. What happens then?

e.g.

Speedcall = {GROUPPILOT}{*9}{**}{EXT#}

in above *9 + 1 second pause and ** sends a Star

Yes, I enabled in the COS of trunk first then the set when it did not work. I will try the speed dial in the manner that you suggest.

Perhaps a new tenant group for that extension with the new call forward entry?

FYI, I was helping Justin with this in the shop.

Just terminate the trunk to the speed dial to prove the concept.

You may need to play with the CO trunk recall point in form 19
