had to set up the legend for Hybrid/PBX most phones are single line plug into 016TR card. Have one 408MLX card and on those phones I need all 4 CO lines showing. Check programming manual can not find how to program co lines on MLX16D phones. The operators phones port 1 and 4, I have all 4 lines showing.
thanks

If you pool the lines, you cannot show the lines on the phones unless they are an operator console-as you've noticed. If you assign the lines to a non-operator, you'll notice it appears as a pool button on that phone. You can answer incoming lines/make outgoing calls via that pool button, but you won't see each individual line. What you can do for a work-around is to assign each line to a seperate pool. Then assign each line to each phone. Now, you'll have 4 pool buttons on each phone, each with one line assigned.

Through ARS you can overflow 70 to 890 to 891 to 892 so it will flow automatically as long as they have access to all pools.

I was thinking you could use least cost routing or whatever it's called in the Legend/Magix. I used to have all of the systems on the wall of my test area at my last job, but I'm on my own now with no systems to play with. Thanks for the info.

nspear,

If the lines are programmed as private lines, then you can put them on each station as line appearances (MLX16D). In that case they would NOT be in any pool.

You might want to explain what you are trying to do, and we can better advise you of options. Or you can get the Feature Reference Guide, and read about all the functionality of the Legend in relation to what you want to do. You may be faced with some trade offs with the single line sets, depending on use.

Thanks-I gave the option to my customer. He needs the pool more then have lines showing on the two MLX16D.
