I have seen postings on other sites alluding to the possibility of getting a TVS100 to hookflash a CO line. I am trying to get the incoming call to be transferred to an off premise telephone (non centrex). I thought that I could use Alternate Extention Transfer Sequence. I assigned an extension with the feature and programmed a speed dial with the 10 digit number (we need that for local calls as well) coding the Alternate Extension Transfer sequence with FWW*00 But that did not work. I think that I need to put another hookflash in at the end of the string as well. Anyone with success doing this. I have multiple off premise numbers that I would like to set up. What I would like to do is have the caller dial in the speed dial number when the CO line is flashed enabling 3 Way transfer.

notsure it can be done with out centrex on the line!

put analog ext in place lets say 106 switch on xdp put call fwd allcalls to your outside no then have v/m ring that ext

scrap my last should have the rest or the post

what were you expecting a hookflash on a non custopack/centrex line to do?aflash would disconect the call on a pots line!!

Hookflash on the POTS line in this case enables 3 way conference. The CO is non centrex capable. The customer has employees at various locations on a 200 acre campus. I have them setup to manually transfer the call but would like to do it within the auto attendant. Hookflash will not disconnect the call when manually performed from a KXT phone.

your telling me that you can do a hookflash on a C.O.line
get a new dial tone dial a 10 digit number and hang up the phone and that call is transfered to a 3rd party? or is this
a pbx ahead of the panasonic?

There is no equipment in front of the KSU. Hookflashing from any phone on CO lines with central office 3 way conference feature returns dialtone. Dial a 10 digit number, hookflash and hangup and the two parties are connected with the CO line busy until one of the other parties goes on hook. Then the CO line clears. I can set up an extension to all calls forward outside line but that bridges two CO lines for the duration of the call. The customer does not mind that during after hours since I have set up one extension like that to divert afterhours maintenance calls to the on call person. They do not want it during business hours for obvious reasons. My customer is running an old KXT123211D analog KSU. I know that the TVS95 and newer VPS can do this type of transfer as long as the KSU is DPITs. The customer is a non profit and has limited funds. Right now, I am just trying to see if there is an alternative. Doug Sandman has a box that will do this at about $200 per line.

i think a cmp autoattendant can do what you describe
on your lines at night by itself!
