Anyone have any clue what 'cns event-service server' does other than enabling the CNS Subsystem? I.e. What is the CNS Subsystem?

Trying a search on Cisco results in EVERY example config coming back -- make life tough to search...

Thanks,
Paul

Cisco Networking Services (CNS) 1.0 delivers on the promise of the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) Directory Enabled Networks (DEN) and Common Information Model (CIM) standards. CNS provides common infrastructure and connective tissue to enable products from Cisco Systems to work together and to empower Cisco customers to deploy custom directory-enabled solutions. But CNS is more than a CIM/DEN-based data model. It provides robust, scalable infrastructure elements to enable seamless, end-to-end management of customer networks
