Hello,
We have a 2 LIMs without group switch /90 channels between the two LIMs/ Duplicated control system connected to the GSM operator through 2E1s where the Number of Extensions equals 120 extensions, where this MD110 is connected with Solidus ecare for one of the oprators.
The problem we faced is when adding a 3rd E1 to the MD110, the system works perfectly for 3-4 hours after activating the third E1, then the alarm high call rate appears in the AllOP , when this alarm appears, the MD110 doesn't accept any new call and prevent the extensions even to make internal calls where a congestion message appears on the telephone displays while trying to make an internal call, at this incident we tried SUSIP to check the E1s channels we note that channels are free from the MD110 side but busy from the AXE10 side. The only solution to put the MD110 in service again is to remove the third E1.
We are already in a diagnostic for this problem and reached the conclusion that the high call rate alarm appears due to the fact that the MD110 accepts 12 calls/10 seconds as maximum while our system receives sometimes 20-30 calls per 10 seconds as the alarm 320 (high call rate ) shows us in the ALLOP; and we know that recommended solution is to balance the load on the two LIMs from extensions and trunks and this already done in the site. But we found in ALEX that more even distribution of extensions or external lines might prevent this alarm in the future, but what does ALEX mean by EVEN? Should we add a fourth E1?! Is the MD110 stable with even number of links? So what shall we do from the MD110 side to avoid the congestion problem where our customer expects to expand the system for more than 10 E1s i n the near future.

Note: we add the 3rd E1 by roeqi to the existing routes.
Is there any advice.
