I've been involved in some problems with McAfee. I'm not sure now (since I don't use it anymore) what version but I think it was 4.02.

I just discovered this today after a google search 'mcafee problems'. We still run it at work, but I believe we're going to change soon. At the time I viewed this thread, there were 29 opinions 12 positive 17 negative. I realize that these opinins are not really conclusive since some people actually have no problems.
