I have 3 2008HF/with display phones at a site that will display date and time but will not display the name or extension number of the person calling these phones. I have limited knowledge and resources but have tried adding DNDA to CLS in LD 20. This does not help. Do I need to do something else before I make the change in CLS? Is this done in LD 20? These are the only 3 phones with displays so I have nothing to compare with. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you. I have to go to the school and make the changes...we have no remote access. :-D

McGruff...I get SCH4525. I know this is an error but our documentation is non-existent. Does this mean it can't be done or does this mean I need to do something else???

SCH4525 = Package for Digital Display not equipped, which is required for Caller's Name Display or Dialed Name Display; or NDD Class of Service is not allowed with CNDA or DNDA Class of Service.

In short, either check to see if NDD is in your CLS. If it is, then change it to ADD. If not, then it means you don't have the package required to do this.

Thanks....will try this on Tuesday when our schools are open again. Am I correct in assuming that the package refers to additional software installed on the Option 11C & if the problem is the package then no one with a 2008/HF with display will ever be able to see who is calling them?

McGruff..The package appears to be our problem. I can list the packages installed in LD 22 but have no clue what they mean. Is there someplace to get this information other than from our vendor?

Thank you McGruff & proctiv....for the great information. Here's the deal...the phone sets were copied (before me) from a 2008/HF WITHOUT a disply, so the keys were not the same. The PROGRAM key which comes standard, I am told, was messing me up. To make a long story short, I had to out the two that did not work, build a generic 2008 and put the necessary information in CLS. Hope this makes sense. Thanks again.

In the future if you run into this all you have to do is change the CLS to allow display.

hawks...Can you please be a little more specific. Thanks.
