Hi all.
I have been trying to figure out why I get the below message.
"CNAME_lookup_failed_temporarily._(#4.4.3)/"
My qmail logs show tons of entries like this:
---------------------------------
@400000003e942d14381955f4 starting delivery 1126: msg 79967 to remote @mail1
@400000003e942d14381980ec status: local 0/10 remote 1/20
@400000003e942d143a87d554 delivery 1126: deferral: CNAME_lookup_failed_temporarily._(#4.4.3)/
---------------------------------
mail1 is the hostname of my mail server. mail1.domain.com is the FQDN. Is there a qmail file somewhere that is pulling the name mail1 as the domain name instead of the hostname? I say that because the logs show "@mail1" as if mail1 was the domain name instead of the hostname.
Thanks in advance for any help! ---
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.
