Currently having issues with wallboards not displaying Data after we had a network issue,
After the network came back up ( CMS server was effected ) the Wallboards where not updating ie The Data was frozen at the time network failed
I tried Stop and Start of wallboards but still not updating.
Ran a known wallboard fix which normally works whenever CMS has been Rebooted but this didnt work as when I came to Start Wallboards I now get an Error message walld_s not in Custom Reports: real-time menu

When I look under Custom reports it is there

Below is Wallboard Fix

Step 1 - firstly, sign in as 'root' and stop the wallboards
Step 2 - logout of the main menu and exit to the - '#' prompt
Step 3 - at the - '#' prompt type - cd /export/home/pserv/walld
Step 4 - then type - ps -ef| grep walld
Step 5 - check if there are other procesess other than the - 'root' process
running
Step 6 - kill off the redundant processes... i.e. kill 12354, kill 153,
etc. (the number after the kill command is the first number on the process
line)
NB: never kill off the ROOT process as it will then log you completely out
of the CMS system and the server will need to be re-booted.
Step 7 - back at the - '#' prompt... type in - ./fixport (press in order -
'y' then - '1' then - '07' then press the ENTER key)
Step 8 - back at the - '#' prompt... type in - ./fixport (press in order -
'y' then - '1' then - '08' then press the ENTER key)
Step 9 - from the - '#' prompt type in - su cms
Step 10 - at the - '$' prompt type in - ./fixmem
Step 11 - at the - '$' prompt type in - cms
Step 12 - at the main menu... re-start the wallboards and check the
figures, updates, times, etc.

Would appreciate if anyone has any ideas

Thanks

Steve

if a pc is running the software for the wall boards then reboot the pc

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

smokingjoe, thanks for reply, the wallboards are run from the CMS Server, will arrange a reboot out of hours.

Hi There smokinjoe2938's

I have now done the following

Out of hours Stopped and Restarted CMS which got the wallboard back to showing Data and also when I ran the Stop/Start on the wallboards from CMS it all looked ok ( ie whe starting Wallboard did not get Error message walld_s not in Custom Reports: real-time menu).
The Wallboard now was all at Zero, I made test calls and had agents logged in but the wallboards did not update ( realtime reports on CMS where updating ok).
Then did a Reboot of the CMS PC and ran the known Wallboard fix as in previous message but ended up back where we started , ie nothing on Wallboard and when you start the wallboard you get Error message walld_s not in Custom Reports: real-time menu.
So logically we Stopped and Restarted CMS but this did not get the wallboard showing any data as it did at the beginning of this paragraph.

regards

Steve

Hi There

We are still having issues getting the Data to update on the wallboard.

Actions so far

Reboot of CMS server

Current state is

Stop wallboards successfully
Start wallboards Error message walld_s not in Custom Reports: real-time menu

Wallboards remain totally blank ie no fields lit up but if I turn off CMS the config fields come back on but still won,t update.

Anyone know what data should look like in the Custom Reports for walld_s

Thanks
