We want to perform an upgrade of existing CMS R18 installed in old ASP (Avaya provided server with ESXI)to CMS R20 with new installation OVA in Avaya ASP 130 Server (with ESXI version 7).
I need the right procedure because it is not very clear in the Avaya documents.
my question, is we need a simple backup of CMSADM and full maintenance and then restore them to the new CMS ?
or we need to follow the CUE Upgrade ISO file with commands:
./cvue_extract
./cvue_copy
./cvue_activate
The the commande ./cvue_extract impact the existing CMS server ? because we need only to retrieve data without any impact in the production.
